Previous Planning
Planning is not new to Pasqua First Nation. As parents, Elders, youth, children and employees we make lists to keep track of what has to be done, what we need to do to complete each task and where we will get the resources to complete the job. Most importantly, we find out who is going to help get the job done.
We have an excellent example of our community working together. In 2008-2009 Pasqua band members partnered with Dalhousie University on the development of a Comprehensive Community-Based Plan. After extensive engagement sessions and community feedback the Pasqua First Nation Community Plan was completed. As part of that process action areas and kick start projects were identified including strengths and issues.
